| A Corvette Z06 finally broke the stranglehold Lamborghini was holding on winning races through the first half of the 12-race German ADAC GT Masters series. Callaway Corvette #25 did the deed.
But, how did we learn of all this? In our Photo Album section, Chris Kissling posted shots of his race car.....
E-mails back and forth to learn more only got us a lesson in German language ignorance, but slowly we discovered that this new car was bound for the ADAC series.
Now, we find that the car debuted with a 4th and a 2nd in the 2 Lausitzring races. Stefan Kissling and Sascha Bert were the men to beat in qualifying, as they topped the timing sheets, however the effort was ruined by a broken differential which forced Kissling to start from the pit lane....and drive through the field to 4th.
Their second race had them leading from their front row start, then being spun out of the lead and again coming back through the field to finish 2nd. So, congrats......on a strong Kissling debut.....and, of course, the Callaway Corvette win. |
