| We sense that Aston Martin will not be coming back to ALMS in 2007. And a 1 or 2 race appearance by the Doran Maserati does not make for real GT1 competition. Look at the GT1 car counts across the globe- 8 in LME, 14 at Spa, 15 at Le Mans, 19 in FIA-GT..........vs [usually] zero competition in the ALMS this year. ......Plus, we do know this- Spa 2007 was easily the most thrilling GT1 competition for ANY Corvettes so far this season.... So, we have some questions:
Can our C6.R's put themselves where the action is, on the international stage, to kick some real GT1 butt?
What about a 2008 GT1 World Tour? Spa, Le Mans, Sebring, Nurburgring - wherever the best of the GT1's compete. Can our mighty C6.R team be there too for '08?
A world class car in a world class tour ... Let's go get 'em! |
