| Mosport, now called Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, is one of the favorites on the ALMS calendar.
This time around the Vipers were the team to beat. Viper had the straight line speed, BMW had the cornering speed, and the Corvette had the best of both worlds.
The Corvettes qualified 2nd and 6th, but Jan Magnussen was directed to go for one more lap, in hopes to get the pole, and got into a massive accident. The team spent 7 hours repairing over $200,000 worth of damage, but got the job done.
The #3 had to start from the back of the field, but Antonio Garcia, Jan Magnussen, and the #3 crew stuck to the mission and came home with a 4th place finish.
Oliver Gavin, Tommy Milner, and the #4 crew were back on form and took the fight to the Snakes. If you were watching to race strictly from ESPN, you missed most of the action. The available on-board cameras showed the intense battle, lap after lap.
Milner held off the #91 Viper and took the win by less than 0.3 seconds. Viper took the other podium spots, making it the first all-American manufactures GT podium in over a decade.
