| Here are all the Corvettes competing in this year's Spa 24 race heading up the hill @ Eau Rouge. That's right, the C6 car count - ZERO. Which is exactly where our interest in this year's 24 sits. Let's explain.
* The 2010 Spa 24 is open to only GT2, GT3, and GT4 classes.
* The GT1's [with Corvettes] ran separate Qualifying and Feature races before the twice-around-the-clock main event. Mad-Croc won the Qual race. Phoenix / Carsport returned to a 2-car team [with Jake in proper position] replacing the Silverstone burn-car.
* But BBV fans, if you know the answers, please enlighten us at to why NONE of the Callaway [or ADAC] Corvettes were entered in the 24?
Seemed strange. And it disinterested us in the 24's outcome. Because we really don't care to follow NASCAR-talker Mike Waltrip as he flogs a Ferrari F430 through the Spa weather..... |
