| Corvette Racing is 'in transition' [Sports talk for 'We ain't winning like we used to'].
During such times, 'Character' matters - 'Character' creates the return to winning - 'Character' is found in real winners at times like this.
Anyone can be a great winner when things are great. And winning is not the ONLY determinant of greatness. So, after seeing the race......and then reading the official PR translation of Lime Rock, all we ask is for the great 'Character' of Corvette Racing to be re-established.
CR IS carrying weight. Yes, the ALMS fears CR GT domination. Sure, the competition has you wearing the same bulls-eye reserved for the Lakers and Yankees.
But, the CR plan is to take the high-road [We've been told such], do the hard work needed to get back to winning, and then EARN IT. The way Corvette Racing is supposed to.
So, enough already [team and fans]. Purse the lips. Focus. Fight. And show 'Character'. |
