| First Race For 2010 FIA-GT1 | |

| The season starts this weekend in Abu Dhabi.
2 solid teams will carry the Corvette C6R battle spears into the FIA-GT1 competitive fray vs Maserati MC12, Ford GT, Aston Martin DB9, Nissan GT-R, and Lamborghini Murcielago R.
The Mad-Croc Racing Corvettes will turn heads. While Oliver Gavin is in Long Beach with the CR factory team, Mika Salo and Pertti Kuismanen will tame the lead reptilian vette. The 2nd Mad-Croc will be led by Xavier Maassen, the co-driver TBD for now.
Germany’s Phoenix Racing / Carsport is the 2nd Corvette team. 2 cars here, too. Marc Hennerici / Andreas Zuber will drive one car. 14-race winner Mike Hezemans is in the 2nd car, with his co-driver also tbd.
While all eyes are on the new-spec GT1's [eg- the Nissan GT-R / Ford GT's], there will be no suprise if the proven C6R still prevails.
UPDATE - Multiple FIA GT winner Andrea Piccini will partner with Hezemans in the Phoenix / Carsport car. Andrea has raced with several top level teams and with Phoenix back in 2006.
