The GT1 era in the Le Mans Series - Europe ended with another Corvette championship at the drop of the final 2009 race checkers at Silverstone. It was not a win for the LAA C6R [a 3rd - the Gigawave AM took P1].
But, the 'big picture' season accomplishments went to Corvette -
Plus, Luc Alphand made his first track appearance since his accident to accept well-deserved accolades for his Corvette organziation. And Jake was there on the b-pillar, too.
