| According to autoextremist.com, Porsche and Ferrari have already started the 'Crying Game' and got a reaction from the ACO.
The Direct Injection system on the 6L Corvette C6R GT2 must be removed for the Petit Le Mans and season-ending Laguna Seca races at the request of the ACO, sanctioning body for Le Mans.
Legal in 2010 for the new GT class, but, apparently not now.
This from 2 brands with a history of mashing the rules - The Porsche GT2 engine may not be legal. And didn't the Ferrari GT2 bodywork have some previous legal troubles, as well? |
