| P4 and 5 for the Corvettes.
0.4 seconds off BMW pole.
0.025 milli-seconds off Porsche Q3 time.
The BMW's have emerged as the cars to beat. They are running per strick ACO rules, although there is that ALMS GT2S designation for 4-seat cars. Frankly, not sure that effects the build rules [anyone know?]. NOR are we going 'all Feinberg' on the topic and claiming an 'unfair WTF'.
BMW is THE target for now and Corvette is up for the challenge.
We do wish less chatter about 'concern about being too fast / too soon for fear of ALMS rules wrath' and more assurance that the team IS going v-max and working through the kinks [Road America cross-reference] necessary to get back to dominance ASAP.
Oh yeah, they still have a race to run.
And Corvette Racing knows how to do THAT! |
