| CorvetteBlogger.com is really good at getting the National Corvette Museum news out. And they seem to have the inside line on factory facts, pricing, etc., too. A great source for all that. So, when they showcased this one-off 2010 Jake Grand Sport for the Museum's 15th anniversary, we noticed.
Tadge Juechter, Corvette Chief Engineer, said of the Grand Sport, "You can summarize the car this way - Zero to sixty in four seconds, 26 miles a gallon."
To that we add, 1G cornering. And GM reminds us no one else in the sports car marketplace can offer those 3 performance achievements in one car. So there!, you GT-R lovers.
Plus with its dry sump system, Grand Sport is a track attack beast @ $55k and change. The Corvette plant next to the Museum will start kicking them out July 27th.
BTW - On a Corvette stopwatch, 4 sec = 3.95 seconds. Now you are the 1st to know. |
