| It has been / and likely will be / a back-and-forth battle with the Maseratis.
At the 6 hour mark, Corvette snapped back into the lead. With the BBV-blessed / Pratt + Miller-assisted Gavin Corvette in 3rd.
BTW - Every Corvette get P+M help. When one buys a car from them, you get an owner-support link 2nd to none via a race-ready car and deep info support as to set-up / the- right-way-to-race-the-thing-fast knowledge. eg- This is not 'caveat emptor' salesmanship by the CR boys.
The race has gone like this -
* Hour 1 - Corvette leads, Sangari + Gavin battle for P1. * Hour 2 - Gavin leads and sets fastest lap to date. * Hour 3 - Gavin still. But, the rains come and Sangari crashes out. DNF. * Hour 4 - Maserati takes the lead - 1, 2, 4. C6R's sit 3, 5. * Hour 5 - Corvette back to the front via PK Carsport. * Hour 6 - PK still in front.
Surprised that the video feed is not 24 hours @ Corvette Motorsport [It restarts @ 8:00 GMT Sunday] so in the interim, stay connected via- * PlanetLeMans.com's Twitter. * Live Timing. * FIA-GT website.
Go Jake, Go Corvette, Go Gavin. |
