| The race is tough, qualifying has no margin, practice and testing are work, but the toughest part of racing may be the night BEFORE the race.
What thoughts speed the brain? What fears keep the eyes fixated on the ceiling?
What visualizations of success bring a smile to pursed lips?
How elevated are all those emotions when you know it is THE LAST TIME?
Corvette Racing completes its conquest of GT1 competition over the next 2 days.
A journey ends. The new battle begins?
Everyone wants to be the hero, no one the goat.
The tension is raised by the times and events of which we are currently experiencing.
But, the Corvette racer rests easy and sleeps a little better because he knows he is the best and he has been to the top before. One more time is just....one more time. |
