| Thanks to the embarrassing (for ALMS) lack of GT1 competition, we think we can rightfully claim that Corvette is the first winner at this year's Grand Prix.
Used to be- "Race on Sunday, sell on Monday"
With Corvette in 2007, it's- "Race on Sunday, win on the Wednesday before when they post the entry list and you are the only cars in the class". Congrats!
Seriously though, the Corvette team will use this race as another "live-fire" prep for LeMans.
...especially given that the Oreca Saleens tested faster than the Aston Martins at the recent LMS sessions at Paul Richard.
