| Every Emeril wannabe knows about cooking with ceramics. And by now, every Corvette fan has seen the latest ZR-1 pics [Thanks, Digital-C for the heads-up And Yes, WE KNOW our pic is a fake Winding Road BD, but the Priddy cease and desist we received must be honored..... Winding Road? Problem?].
What's catching everyone's eyes are the brakes, beautifully / dutifully sitting behind what look to us to be 19"-F and 20"-R rims.
Those carbon ceramic "extra large pie plates" reek race car exotic and a spicy Corvette cuisine!
....from what we've seen, we would expect carbon to be the prevailing ZR-1 theme. Carbon hood with see-though panel, carbon roof [and removable, a feature unavailable on the Z06, BTW], carbon front fenders with twin outlet vents, the carbon brakes, and other weight-saving carbon tweaks deep in the infrastructure of the car.
Hey, why not carbon wheels? We have the technology...
But whatever ultimately comes out the GM Shop door will definitely get your pizza home fast and hot! Hail the true Z-car! |
