BBV's Sebring Grades Are Posted

Watching the performance of ALL the race teams of ALL the manufacturers, the grading was EASY.

GOD-LIKE [eg- Having Their Total Sh** Together]

* Audi - They won. They launched the last 3 new cars with wins [R8, R10, R15]. But, they earn deity status because they are sooo complete; in design / execution, strategy / execution, attention to detail. Watch Truth in 24 to understand.

Key OMG Observation - Not only did Audi lead / compete for the lead all 12 hours, they did so while doing the tire compound / setup evaluations DURING the race that they couldn‘t get to because frozen weather conditions severely limited their pre-season testing!

* CORVETTE - The CR crew’s performance @ Sebring proves they remain equally complete and buttoned-up in plan, process, execution, commitment. There's Audi and Corvette. NO ONE ELSE.

...and don’t think Corvette Racing doesn’t take Audi’s success launching new cars as a personal gauntlet for the GT2 introduction.

OBAMA MEETS A-ROD [eg- What Me Worry? What Big Game?]

* Peugeot - The car is awesome. But, the knock against Barry is the same with THIS team - both NEVER seem to react to anything that happens around them. Good for a Prez, bad for a race team. Pug had the option to set their strategy as they saw Audi setting up for the final push. They had the speed charts that told them of Audi's pace. Did they react? Mais, non....No tire change, no fastest shoe into the car. So, just like '08 Le Mans and Petite, they could not deliver in the Big Game [What is French for A-Rod?].

MY BAD [eg- Next Time Will Be Better, I Promise]

* Porsche - Where Ferrari has their GT2 act working, the 2 Porsche teams did not. Plus, we wonder if the '09 air restrictors are forcing rpm to be the power factor with the Italian V8 [and Chevy LS?] able to turn more revs than the Stuttgart 6.

WTF [eg- Not Ready For Prime Time]

* BMW - Bobby R says, “oil tank crack” in his interview. In-car footage says ‘engine failure'.
* Mazda - 2 cars, 2 engines, 2 hours, 2 DNFs. Or something like that.
* Acura - Pole, Yes. Hydraulic power steering, No. Audi pace from an Acura LMP1? Not every lap. Acura is a physical car to drive, so Lou Ferrigno / Dwayne Johnson are being fitted for St Pete....

Class dismissed.
