Yeah, Jake on the intake of the ZR1 rules..... But, after that rush what really caught our eye was the underside of the hood and its carbon fiber sci-fi-transformer-exo-skeleton. More "Look what they did here!" details-

* The Speedline wheels with their little weight saving coves carved into each spoke.
* And beyond the wheels - the matte-grey finished compressed carbon surface of those huge brake rotors.
* The retro '70 ZR1-inspired hood vee in front of that 'microwave oven door window'.
* The wider front fenders and what it does to the proportions of the car [snarl].
* The carbon wheel deflectors doing their downforce inducing, low drag thing.

One gripe: The ZR1 logos were made XXL in the US to cover the fender hole for the Euro side lights. Why not leave the Euro lights in the fenders on ALL ZR1s' to remind everyone Corvette is a global kick-ass competitor! [There's a nice space for a cooler, more discrete logo right at the split in the coves.]
